John I began reading your articles on your website in 2017 after a close relative had a heart attack and I was desperately trying to learn complex medical heart issues. I came across your website and I was hooked by an article you wrote on Iogenisis (sp?) or the medicalization of normal life. It was extraordinary….expressing what I felt deeply but could never articulate. Since then I have been an avid reader of your columns. While the Covid experience was a mess and tragedy it raised awareness of the thinking of people like you. I am sure all your readers are grateful this Thanksgiving for your contributions to medical knowledge for laypeople.
